The saddest thing I have found yet;
is for someone to have known ALLAH and then somehow forget...
Our own communities I sadly say,
from many angles have led the way...
Masjids and Islamic Centers once filled are now abandoned or up for sale;
many of the prior members have forsaken the straight path for a road to hell;
or for things like rape and or child molestation they sit in jail...
Oh yes, this is an untold story that someone has got to tell...
How does a whole community lose its grip;
Did we just let go or was it by an accidental slip?
True many of our elders have managed to hold on;
but countless souls from the next few generations have just up and gone...
There must be some accountability or forever we will have to atone...
Al Islam isn't a religion its a way of life to be followed and obeyed;
its manifestations are reflections of how a community of individuals behaved;
giving a pretty accurate account of whether or not folks were spiritually free or still mentally enslaved;
Do we want to recover or just leave things as they are;
we are in need of solutions yet we haven't found them thus far...
