As I struggle to figure out why I can't halt the tears rolling down my face!!!
You and I have been done now for a while;
We ended with the promise to always lend the other a smile;
and if our helping hand was needed to extend it we'd walk a green mile...
But wait; married to another; my friend are you sure?
and since it was you who broke my heart shouldn't loneliness you endure?
I don't like the way this feels, how can you moving on be the cure?
Maybe this is my proof that your love for me never was 100% pure...

if we were meant, then we would still be;
Him moving on is not an attack & this I clearly see;
It's GOD's plan unfolding and on my favor I await patiently ;
It's the test of our faith that gets us closer to the Almighty...
So to you my friend I say Mabruk with all my heart;
for what GOD ties together nothing can part;
friends we've always been from the very start;
and friends we will remain, "I cross my broken heart!"
