Protective Resistance

I cried because by denying you I also denied me;
but no pain could be worse than displeasing the Almighty...

In another time and or in another place;
maybe this unintentional bond could've shown its face...

Please forgive me if my choice caused you harm;
but with me I'm pleased for resisting your charm...

ALLAH knows my heart for it is HE who has filled it;
but from the whispers of shaitan I strive to shield it...

Controlling our whims and desires is sometimes very hard to do;
but it gets much easier when our desire to please GOD is true...

My number one LoVe I've never had the pleasure of seeing;
my only hope of doing so is by protecting my spiritual being...

Loving you for the sake of GOD is what I know to be best;
this selfish love I feel, is simply another faith building test...

may ALLAH be pleased...ameen
