THE MIRACLES OF AL QU'RAN

Bismillah...

As it nourishes mankind with the soul food from its many crops...
The miracles of Al Quran remain less countable than raindrops

From the splitting of two seas to the dwellers of the cave;
From the voice behind the fire to the birthing of a fatherless slave…

THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE MIRACLES I WILL HUMBLY CONVEY;
Made clear for the reflectors who patiently persevere and pray…

I cannot fail to mention the flawless course of the moon and sun;
Both from day one of their creation a perfect cycle they have run…

Nor the dreams of a boy manifested can I make way to ignore;
Visions giving faith to a father about what the future had in store…

THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE MIRACLES I WILL HUMBLY CONVEY;
Made clear for the reflectors who patiently persevere and pray…

From the showers of brimstone making way for a renewed light;
To the promise of the coming ease when only difficulty is in sight…

Then there’s the 40 days of rain, which purified the earth;
And the creation of Father Adam(a) who came to be free of birth

THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE MIRACLES I WILL HUMBLY CONVEY;
Made clear for the reflectors who patiently persevere and pray…

Believers know to well the reoccurring blessings wrapped in Ramadan;
A time commemorating the descending of the miracles found in Al Qu’ran…

As a confirmation of past scriptures gifted to us by the Almighty;
The revelation of Al Qu’ran marks the seal of Divine Prophecy…

Made clear for the reflectors who patiently persevere and pray…

Most are well informed of the miracles from times of old;
But now I’ll share my miracles of today, if I may be so bold…

Though I am no scholar, I am a creature striving to please the DIVINE
So for my own miraculous treasures the ayahs of Al Qu'ran I mine…

As I mine I grasp for the light ALLAH has reserved for the individual
Who in the midst of this distracting dunya hungers for what is spiritual...

THE FOLLOWING ARE MY PERSONAL MIRACLES THAT I WILL HUMBLY CONVEY;
THINGS WHICH GRANT MY SOUL COMFORT WHEN I PATIENTLY PERSEVERE & PRAY...

Like the never ending fruit growing from the tree of Tahajud prayer;
That expands my spiritual being like my lungs when filled with air…

The wetness of Dhikr quenches my thirst giving juice to my soul;
As well as protection from the devils calls to abandon my holy goal…

THE FOLLOWING ARE PERSONAL MIRACLES THAT I WILL HUMBLY CONVEY;
THINGS WHICH GRANT MY SOUL COMFORT WHEN I PATIENTLY PERSEVERE & PRAY...

The institution of marriage it makes plain and crystal clear;
Bringing tranquility and honor forcing the forbidden to disappear…

From my due portion of inheritance to the animals lawful for me to eat;
The guidance I receive in the present day provides a way of life complete….

THESE MODERN DAY MIRACLES I HAVE HUMBLY CONVEYED;
were bestowed upon a servant who patiently persevered and prayed…
