You chose me like dhikr, a reminder of GOD;
a spiritual helper on this journey we trod...
I embrace my duty to be used by our CREATOR;
knowing the reward compared to my efforts will be far Greater...
It's really not about the who, it's all about the why;
an attempt to rack up good deeds before the day I die...
The fact that your spirit moves me kinda messes with the flow;
posing the question, "am I doing it for my LORD or doing it for show?"
So I will strive to purify my intentions over and over again;
in hopes my deeds will be accepted as good ones in the end...
may ALLAH be pleased with my deeds...ameen
