As I sit and watch the birds in front of me,
I can't help but notice they're all so carefree,
about their provisions they show no worry,
as they peck continously,
confident they'll be provided for by the ALMIGHTY;
I too peck patiently...
may GOD who has no partners sons or daughters be pleased_ameen

The Beginning...
Bismillah...As Salaamu Alaikum...Ramadan Mubarak...Amelah El-Amin here...Today, Tuesday September 2 , 2008 / Ramadan 1, 1429, I begin my humble attempt to share some poetry by "A Sista Like Me"...My desire is to stimulate thought around the things that concern "This Muslimah"...Insha ALLAH, there will be at least one new concern/poem posted each month. The Prophet pbuh, describes women as emotional creatures, so although I will strive to convey my concerns in a spiritually conscious way, forgive me in advance, for those times when my emotional out shadows my spiritual...may those times be few...ameen...I pray my shares will be windows baring light and/or keys that will unlock & open doors providing room for healthy growth...ameen
