Abandoned Post...

Bismillah...

It may be naive for me to ask,

and I probably should focus on my immediate task,

but I must know, "Now that you are gone, who is going to man your post?"

Wasn't it your choice to come and lead,

as you portrayed yourself as one from that special breed,

but now that you've just up and walked away "who is going to man your post?"

Another child's heart left to bleed,

by a father searching to fulfill some dysfunctional need,

who never asked himself the question, "once I'm gone, who's going to man my post?"

By default I guess that's me,

and I will constantly pray to my LORD the Almighty;

to give me the strength, courage, and patience to wo-Man your post!!!
